Chapter 1821 "Friend Zone" Nightmare:>Ep7

• As Nick tried to slowly get closer while staying in the safe zone, he also tested out his progress. Sometimes, he made sure to go to lunch first, just before the time he knew she liked to go. He sat down by himself. It was a test to see if Chloe would come and sit with him. At first she didn't, but then she did.
• If a group was going for drinks after work, and Chloe was going or it seemed like she might, Nick made sure to be there. Sometimes he would organize a group, and make sure to invite Chloe's friends, but not Chloe directly, knowing there was a good chance Chloe might come along.
• By nature, Nick had never considered himself an especially social or outgoing person. He knew he was forcing himself into all these activities. But the funny thing was, after a while, he found he was enjoying himself more and more, and forcing himself less and less. Sometimes, even if Chloe wasn't there, he still found himself having a reasonably good time. Nobody was more surprised than NIck!
